Rob Cubbon Low Content Course review

Welcome to my Rob Cubbon Low content course review, it is one of the best low content book courses you can get.

Introduction

Making a living online can be pretty darn overwhelming. Website, traffic, sales pages, copywriting, positioning… it’s enough to make your head spin! But in 10 years online I’ve never made easier money than with low content publishing. When I started and saw sales rolling in, I was stunned. Why? Because as someone who builds websites, I was expecting sales in 6-8 months, but they came pretty much instantly.

What is low content? Low content publishing is pretty much planners, notebooks and more, sold primarily trough Amazon KDP (the service that publishes your paperback book on Amazon) I didn’t know this thing existed (a good sign of opportunity) until I met Rob Cubbon.

Who’s Rob Cubbon?

True story: I was sparring with this guy (I do Muay Thai) when we started trading punches and talking about making a living online. As I remember, I was punching, he was trying to survive…but that could just be how I remember it! Anyway, while talking he revealed to me that a friend of his was making a killing on Amazon KDP using something called “low content books”. About a day later I met Rob. Since he too was a graphic designer, we kicked it off quickly. He explained what low content was and pointed to his course.

I went back home, got his low content course and started my KDP low content journey right then and there. Sales started rolling in faster than I could ever expect. I wasn’t alone, I met quite a few people doing really great on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing BECAUSE of Rob, including a cat who just raked in $20,000. So what he teaches worked for many.

Rob Speaking

What kind of person is he? Well…You know some people make you want to barf because they are so frikking nice? That’s Rob for ya. If you’ve been online for a while, you tend to become really jaded and have your B.S. meter high up, but let me tell you Rob is one of the good guys in a field where sharks are a plenty. He’s been a graphic designer for decades and online for about 15 years if I remember correctly. He’s a really good guy in my book.

Since I have his KDP low content course, here’s the review…

Rob Cubbon Low content course review

Rob’s course is there to teach you everything you need to know to make a killing at Low Content Publishing on Amazon KDP. That means he goes trough Keyword research (crucial), Design and getting your book sold. There’s also a module on using advertising, but that’s optional. Here’s what’s great and not so great about it…

Awesome: Everything you need to earn with low content books

There are 3 factors you need to win in low content books: Niche research, great covers and insides, and the description/keywords. This course covers all of them. See for yourself in this screenshot:

Quite the amount of content in the couse

So, yes a lot of stuff. Even though it’s quite large there is no fluff, everything in this course is actionable, and you will find out:

  • The step-by-step system that finds profitable niches
  • The exact signals to look for to see what’s selling
  • Designing interiors customers want to buy
  • Designing covers that sell
  • How to maximize your book’s chances of being sold (keywords and descriptions)

Awesome: Creating designs that sell

Rob shows you everything you need to know to create designs that sell in Photoshop, illustrator, Indesign and Affinity designer. These are pretty hefty programs to learn, but Rob cuts the fat and shows you exactly what you need to know to create awesome designs customers will want to buy. So you don’t need to be a designer or have design inclination at all.

BUT I can hear you say, I don’t have Photoshop and all of those fancy schmancy designer software, I can’t do this! Well, the good news is only half of the modules are dedicated to the professional software, because Rob spends another half going to how to do the exact same stuff in FREE software. hence another “awesome point”…

Awesome: No special software needed

Both Rob and I graphic designers and we use professional grade software, and the hundreds of options can put a newbie in a coma on sight. But the course shows how to create really great interiors with FREE and simple software. He talks about creating a KDP low content publishing empire with free software like:

  • Ms Word
  • Powerpoint
  • Google slides
  • Canva
  • KDP Cover creator
Step by step how to make a stunning cover with Canva (free)

In this way, even if you don’t have access to pro tools, you can still make stunning designs. Don’t dismiss them either, while lurking around some Facebook groups, one woman revealed she made thousands of dollars and her insides were made in good ol’ Microsoft Word.

Awesome: FREE templates

As a bonus, Rob gives you some interiors to start your low content books. Low content books have two components: Covers and insides. He shows you how to easily design the covers, and since he gives you the inside templates, the hardest part is actually already done. The game is simply keyword research and design.

Awesome: Interview with a low content book success

Interview with a star student. 20 minutes of gold

If you knew someone making $4000/month in 3 months, you would pick their brains to bits right? As a bonus of Rob’s course he interviews his star student and asks all the juicy bits. Ashiat actually drops his exact process that makes $4000/month with mostly plain ol’ LINED journals (and yes, Rob gives you the interiors to make these). He uses a really smart process where he mines the design ideas from other sites and makes a list of niches to go in. Plus he also tells you exactly how he turns a huge profit with just $100 in ads. This is the same guy who recently made $20,000 with low content.

Meh: Would like some More interviews

My only downside of the course is simply the lack of interviews. Granted, in the only interview Shashwat Ashiat was extremely generous, but I would love to have like 4+ more interviews in there. To show that there is more than one path to the top of the mountain. But to be honest, I’m splitting hairs here (not Rob’s hair…he’s bald and sexy) the course is great as-is and I just want more interviews because the content is so good.

Awesome: Exclusive Facebook group

The tight knit community that comes with the course. Each person in there have been verified buyers

This part is probably worth the price of the course alone. When you get the course, you get a link to a private Facebook group where Rob and other sharp KDP sellers will answer your questions and help as much as they can. You can scroll down the Facebook group and you will not find one post where Rob didn’t answer. So if you are ever stuck just hop in the group and you will get all of your answers there.

Does it work?

Most of your sales will happen organically. Rob still reveals the keyword tactics to turn a profit with Amazon Ads.

So. If you get this course, will it make you money? Well, I’ll have to be careful what I say here. This is not a GUARANTEE there’s way too many factors at work to say “This makes money”. So don’t expect me to say that.

So here’s what I’ll say: Rob’s course puts everything in your favor to make a hit with low content books. Consider this: I went trough Rob’s course (I actually binged it). The following week, I’m already at 10 sales. I won’t reveal how much I make now, but he’s got a student that makes $2500/month in 3 months and others making lots of sales (more on this below). Plus some sellers post their results in the private Facebook group, so it’s pretty clear people are making money. That’s why I say it puts everything in your favor and the course is highly recommended. So let’s put an answer to the question…

Is it worth it?

Rob’s course is $199. He has many other courses, but this one is his higher priced ones. There’s good reason for this, it’s because you can make that money back quickly, and there’s lots of dough to be made on Amazon KDP. And between me and you, I’m glad it’s high priced so that it keeps some of Rob’s methods away from everyone.

By the way $199 is expensive if you look at the price, but if you look at it as an investment, it pays for itself. For me and my bank account, there’s a definite B.R. and A.R. That’s “Before Rob” and “After Rob”, so it is absolutely worth it, and I’m not the only one that thinks so…

What do other students say?

Rob’s been at this for a while, and he’s also showed others how to be successful beside me and a few cats I know. Here’s what other students said about Rob Cubbon’s low content course:

– Nikola A Blakemore

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sold 111 books in one day

“I wanted to wait to see results. Sunday my son and I sold 111 books in one day.”
– Faith Holler

Conclusion

Rob made a really great KDP low content course, and it’s highly recommended for anyone who wants to start right away. I’ve followed what he teaches to the letter and I’ve already made a sizable amount in a month. Not just me, you can see from the reviews, a lot of others too.

It covers everything you need to start a low content publishing business from A to Z and even has insides to get you started right away. You’ll want to get the course and get going quickly however. Why? Because day by day KDP low content gets more and more popular and you might miss your opportunity window to make a killing with low content publishing.

I feel like low content books are like bitcoin. Those who acted quickly before it got popular won big time. KDP low content is still unknown (I’ve never heard of low content publishing before) so you really do not want to delay getting on this.
